Thanks to area voters who helped support our district's most recent replacement levy on February 9, 2010. Though results are not official, it appears voters in White Salmon, Underwood, Bingen, and others throughout the district have approved the levy in the amount of $2,395,000. This was an increase of approximately $340,000 over the current levy amount. This increase was necessary to help cover costs of inflation, loss of remaining levy equalization, anticipated loss of state funding for I-728, as well as to maintain and enhance current programs.
