Welcome to the Columbia High School Woodshop web page. Woodshop is a place where students will learn to work with different medias and tools. This is a place for students pursuing careers in craftsmanship and looking for a hands-on elective. Here you will find:

       Be on Time (one minute grace)
       Be safe
       Be Respectful
       Be On Task
       This is known as Being Professional…Any Questions?
Consequences
       1st time            Record verbal warning / loose 3 of 10 points.
       2nd time           10 min lunch detention in Hadley’s room/ loose all daily points.
       3rd-?                15 minute lunch detention in Hadley’s room/ ¾ page report / loose all daily points.
       Students who earn more then 3 offenses will earn ISS and one page report for each additional offense. Students who do not attend detentions will not pass the course.
 
Grading Policy
       Daily work is worth… 10 points
       Participation is  …       7 points
       Cleanup is …               3 Points
       The Final is worth…     one letter grade
 
Attendance Policy
       Good attendance is important !!!
       Students loose credit when not in class.
       Students missing > 4 periods in a grading period will not earn credit for this course until this time is made up.
       Students who miss 4 or fewer have no consequence.
       Students who miss 3 or fewer periods and are on time all semester are excused from taking the final.
Tardy Policy
       Tardy starts 1 min. after the bell. 
       First through third Tardy reduces possible points from 10 to 7.
       Students tardy > 4 periods start to follow consequences for unprofessional behavior.
