Welcome to Columbia High School Associated Student Body Homepage ASB meetings are held weekly, every Monday during lunch in Mr. Kasenga's Classroom. We approve purchase orders and activity requests as well as discuss "what's happening" on campus. All CHS students are welcome and encouraged to attend. The ASB is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing many of the extracurricular activities at Columbia High School. From planning assemblies, organizing for dances, and managing expenditures and budgets for the various clubs and activities, the students who take part in their school's government have accepted a large amount of responsibility. ASB officers and class officers attend the annual summer Leadership Camp at CISPUS in Randle, Washington learning ways to be effective school leaders. Every August before school begins we hold a ASB workshop to go over plans for the year. Events are scheduled, new ideas are discussed and most of all the students have a chance to get to know each other learning their strengths and how to effectively work together. |
